Being a celebrant is a huge privilege, hearing the stories and leading wonderful ceremonies is a joy. The stories I hear vary in intensity and tone, they are often touching and deeply moving but can be funny - both funny "peculiar" and funny "haha"
My role is to weave the stories, the memories and the personal touches into something that is beautiful and unique to the people at the centre of our world.
I am based in the beautiful Eden Valley in Cumbria, I work throughout the county and surrounding areas but one of the joys of being a celebrant is that we can work anywhere so if you have somewhere special in mind I am always open to travelling with you.
There is a lot to think about, if you would like some more information or would like to meet for an informal chat either in person or by phone or video please get in touch and I will always be happy to talk to you about your plans.

I am a member of The Good Funeral Guild, a collective of like minded people working to change funerals for the better.
The mission of The Good Funeral Guild is not to reflect change in funerary practices but to be the change.
Humanists are people who shape their own lives in the here and now, because we believe it's the only life we have. We make sense of the world through logic, reason and evidence and always seek to treat those around us with warmth, understanding and respect.
The Funeral Celebrant Accord defines the attributes and skills required of an excellent funeral celebrant and is intended to set the standards by which all celebrants offering funeral services should be measured.
